We have driven past this seemingly rundown corner coffee shop umpteen times, but never gave it a second look, probably because it was overshadowed by its more illustrious neighbours, 水记咖哩鱼头 and 金山鸭面. Another plausible reason is the geography of the stall, hidden at the back of the shop with only a small signboard to maintain its presence in the otherwise unorderly, crowded place.

All the way to the end of the coffee shop, hidden in a corner, meant to be spotted only by the eagle-eyed.

Generous amount of tender beef slices, coupled with an aromatic herbal broth just adds on to the character of the beef noodle. Regretably, pinches more of the pickled vegetables would have given more crunchiness and another dimension to the dish. Rating: 7.5/10

Price: 7.0/10
Service: 6.0/10
Conclusion: If all one need is a quick indulgence of beef noodles and does not mind the dark, unorderly surroundings then this would be the right place to go to. The beef noodles although not exceptional in all aspects, still deserves a place in the itinerary.
