Featured before in a local variety show, Taste with Jason (阿贤人情味)  has uplifted the popularity of this joint beyond the boundaries of Batu Pahat, from Perlis in the North to Johor Bahru in the Southern tip of Malaysia.
It is no easy feat to have a foodie joint that spans across 3 shops, and much more so to be featured in a popular programme. All of it certainly cannot be achieved without the stamp of recognition from the TV producers, viewers,  bloggers and patrons alike.

A selection of herbal tonic soups with different ingredients ranging from pork ribs, chicken to duck. I had mine with duck meat, and all comes in personal size only. RM5.50. Rating: 7.5/10.

Besides the above, curry fish is another exciting dish to be highly recommended by me. The soft, succulent fish meat is bathed in a rich and thick curry gravy, together with lady's fingers and beancurd. For a non-fish meat lover like me, to be able to finish all 3/4 of it speaks for itself. RM22.00. Rating: 8.5/10

Stir fried chinese cabbage. RM4.00. Rating 6.5/10

How about a plate of yam rice to go with all of the above ? On a negative note, the rice is overcooked and mashy, not to my personal liking but suitable for those who like it soft. RM1.20. Rating: 5.0/10.

Snapshot of Shui Kee's prices and operating hours.

Price: 7.0/10
Service: 7.0/10
Conclusion: Even the thought of it at this moment salivates me. Recommended for all who is visiting Batu Pahat.
