A cosy, little deli shop at the Rail Mall in the Upper Bukit Timah area offering authentic Italian cusine from salads, antipasti, soups to a selection of main course, pasta and dessert. And of course, without being too harsh on your wallet. The ambience allows for a date with your loved ones for anniversaries, a quick lunch with your fellow colleagues or bonding with your family over pasta. pizzas and fine wine.
I was there for a quick meal with my colleagues though, a team lunch to be exact. Looking to tighten the string on your purse ? Then you can try out their lunch set menu ranging from SGD18++ to SGD24++, comprising of starter, main, coffee/tea and dessert. There is a selection of starters and mains to choose from, whichever tingles your tastebud.
Fried rice balls for starter. I think they use short grain rice (usually for risotto) and mixed wit cheese, together with some spices to get the yellowish colour. The taste is further improved with the tomato sauce lining the bottom. I like it. Rating: 7.5/10
If starchy stuffs aren't for you, how about some smoked salmon in omelette, served with toasted bread as starter instead ?
Crab meat pasta for main. The dish has a wonderful proportion of crab meat and I can taste it in every mouthful. Looks spicy but fear not, this is well suited for people who can't take fiery stuffs. The chilli at best gives my tongue a mild sting when chewed upon. Rating: 7.5/10.

Conclusion: Service is not exactly prompt and we had to wait quite a while before the waiter stops by to attend to our orders. Maybe it was the influx of lunch crowd and I have noticed there are only 1 staff who is taking orders while the rest doesn't. Something for them to look into but overall the dining experience was good and I left, a happier person in which the food does play a major part.View Larger Map
