Al-Azhar Eating House is located along a stretch of shophouses opposite Beauty World Plaza. Mamak-ing isn't exactly what I always wanted to try out while in Singapore. I always felt there's less burden on the wallet and get at least 50% off the price on the food, when I mamak in Johor Bahru as compared to Singapore. However, I'm beginning to change my mindset when I visited Al-Azhar. The selections of food are massive and it certainly took me a while to decide what I wanted to order, and still tinkering with the idea of ordering a western food, roti john, murtabak and nasi lemak at the back of my head. Yeah, I know it sounds crazy, but hey that's because they just simply have too much selections to choose from that I can't set my mind on a single one.
