The cafe aims to replicate the American dining experience by offering their GlamBurgers, gigantic patties for people with humongous appetite. A concept of multi-layered burger that targets to challenge the expansive limits of one's stomach. To be frank, the decoration or menu at best, offers neligible hints of their half-hearted intentions. Their location wasn't exactly situated at the best spot as well, hidden between rows and rows of shophouses, within the maze of Taman Sutera. It's just one of the cafes among all the eateries, if you get what I mean.
For the people who is or has been to Kuching before, should know they have a few local hawker dishes which everyone must try, notably the kolo mee (哥罗面), laksa and tomato sauce mee. I have never tried all of them before simply because 1) I've never been to Sarawak before and 2) I've never come across them locally in JB.
Decide to pay this place a visit upon recommendation from my friend, a local that hangs around the Tun Aminah and prides upon as being one. Haha. It would take a few turns behind the Sutera mall, running through some kampung houses before you will reach this destination. I was there in the morning for breakfast and the place is very airy and cooling, partly because of the gloomy weather as well. Apparently, this outlet has been established since 1973 and now it is helmed by the 2nd generation. There's just something very special about this place, it being build around and under this big tall tree.
