Moving away from Malacca, we are now heading back southwards into Johor. 1st stop before venturing further south, we went to Tangkak (45min drive from Malacca city) to have a try of the most famous food that has surfaced from the small town, beef noodle.Seems like they have 2 more branches in Kuala Lumpur and Malacca. Hmm...when will they open another in Johor Bahru ?
They have been rather generous with the beef. To me, the broth earns a 2 thumbs up from me and I'm not one who finishes all the soup on every meal but this time round, nothing is left in my bowl. Satisfying lunch indeed.
Another bowl ? No problem at all. It's cheap at RM5 per bowl and they only serve it in soup form. Sorry, no dry beef noodle.

Service: 7.0/10
Conclusion: Everything is good, the beef...the noodles...the broth. All earns at least a thumbs up from me, no wonder Tangkak beef noodle is so famous around Malaysia. Beware of the many imitations around you. Highly recommended !
